Today, I found out that my parents got married on their second date because they were mildly intoxicated, bored and wanted something to do. FML

their marriage wasn't very healthy, and they ended up getting a divorce when I was about 4, but we're all ok which I'm very thankful for

yeah, they split up after a while. I forget how long, but I think they stayed married for almost 10 years
