Today, I dropped my physics class because I thought I bombed the 50% second midterm test. I got my results an hour after dropping online. I finished with an 83. I can't get back into the course. FML

Today, after dropping a class for the first time ever in college in order to focus on raising my grades, I failed the test that I dropped another course to study for. By not finishing on time. After 3 days of studying. FML
Today, I found out I got a 97 on my physics final exam. I was curious about the question I missed, so I went up to my teacher and asked. He was very confused and checked my grade again before telling me, "Oh my bad, it was meant to be a 79." FML
Today, I finished an exam in physics class. It counts for 40% of our grade. As I handed my paper in to my teacher, she said to the whole class while talking about me, "You did this wrong; this isn't how you do it." FML
Today, I found out that I've been taking the wrong math class all semester. We're only a few weeks from finals and I have no drops left. FML
Today, I went to online to find out why my midterm grade is for my least favorite class Psychology. After weeks upon weeks of studying and doing work for a class I hate I found out that I have a zero in the class. Turns out I've been going to the wrong psychology class all semester. FML
Today, I got my first university math midterm back. I did so bad that my teacher put a sadface on the first page. FML
Today, the grades for one of my courses were released. The class average was higher than that which the department allowed, so the professor had to scale everyone's marks down to meet the policy. I ended up failing because my class was too smart. FML
Today, I went to check my grade, which was posted for an essay for my comp 1 class. I got a zero. I was devastated only to find out I never actually clicked the submit document button. My grade dropped 20 points. FML
Today, I got my final exam back. I got a 50/100. I didn't know it had a back side. FML
Today, I tried to turn in a final exam online. When I went to check if it had been submitted, Blackboard told me it did. My grade told a different story. FML

Actually schools still record you dropping a class after it's past a certain date ( and that date is way before midterms). Also, he obviously could have waited till he recieved the results... considering they were given the same day he dropped.

Snicks is in college, but I agree that dropping a class is much better than failing it; however, OP probably wouldn't have passed anyway if he/she couldn't tell the difference between a "B" performance and a failing one.

Eh, OP probably can't handle college anyway. It's normal for a student to feel anxious about a test, but usually after the test the student has a good grasps of well he/she did. If OP can't tell that he/she performed at an above average (B) rate then chances are he/she just guessed the entire time. Not only that, but crumbled under pressure! OP had better learn to cowboy/girl the hell up next time!

Actually it is a solution to saving oneself from a failing grade. The point of being able to withdraw is so that class doesn't negatively affect your GPA, or that's what I'm told anyway. I've not dropped a class yet.

Now that I can agree with! OP deserves this massive fail for being such an incompetent student as to not have a clue how well he/she did on his/her own test. Every student either leaves thinking they passed or failed based on how many questions they know they answered correctly. OP has no excuse!
