Today, I dropped my physics class because I thought I bombed the 50% second midterm test. I got my results an hour after dropping online. I finished with an 83. I can't get back into the course. FML

Today, after dropping a class for the first time ever in college in order to focus on raising my grades, I failed the test that I dropped another course to study for. By not finishing on time. After 3 days of studying. FML
Today, I found out I got a 97 on my physics final exam. I was curious about the question I missed, so I went up to my teacher and asked. He was very confused and checked my grade again before telling me, "Oh my bad, it was meant to be a 79." FML
Today, I finished an exam in physics class. It counts for 40% of our grade. As I handed my paper in to my teacher, she said to the whole class while talking about me, "You did this wrong; this isn't how you do it." FML
Today, I found out that I've been taking the wrong math class all semester. We're only a few weeks from finals and I have no drops left. FML
Today, I went to online to find out why my midterm grade is for my least favorite class Psychology. After weeks upon weeks of studying and doing work for a class I hate I found out that I have a zero in the class. Turns out I've been going to the wrong psychology class all semester. FML
Today, I got my first university math midterm back. I did so bad that my teacher put a sadface on the first page. FML
Today, the grades for one of my courses were released. The class average was higher than that which the department allowed, so the professor had to scale everyone's marks down to meet the policy. I ended up failing because my class was too smart. FML
Today, I went to check my grade, which was posted for an essay for my comp 1 class. I got a zero. I was devastated only to find out I never actually clicked the submit document button. My grade dropped 20 points. FML
Today, I got my final exam back. I got a 50/100. I didn't know it had a back side. FML
Today, I tried to turn in a final exam online. When I went to check if it had been submitted, Blackboard told me it did. My grade told a different story. FML

It's safe to say that the drop date was BEFORE he got the results for the test. Even if he got the results the same day, it could have gotten the results at night AFTER the office closed a 5pm or whenever is closes. My question is how do you think you bomb a test and then get an 83? Was there some type of massive curve. It's happened to me where I bombed a test, but I knew everyone did bad and I knew the teacher gave curves so I didn't worry about the grade. Try begging the teacher and the school to let you 'undrop'... it's worth a shot.

You can get back into the class. Just go to your registrar and tell them you have no idea how you were dropped from the course. etc etc. You just have to lie a little. Stop being so dumb and get back into the class.

At first, I read this FML and thought they DI. But then I remembered that second midterms usually coincide with the final drop date for any subject. They may have not had the chance to drop their class after they figured out the results, in which case they would be stuck with whatever grade they got. this happened to one of my friends but they managed to talk to their professor and get their exam score a few hours before deadline. o_O

Monika... I hate when comments don't show up where they are supposed to :-( @ucla_cupcake- some classes handle grades different than others... one of my classes this semester I know 80% of my final grade by late drop time but another I only know half my final grade
