Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, is my first day as a student nurse. It was also the first day I learnt I was allergic to latex gloves. FML
Today, I had an allergy test. Not only was I allergic to 35 out of the 40 items, they also found out that I'm allergic to the latex gloves my doctor happened to be wearing. Now my entire back is covered in a rash that will last at least another week. FML
Today, I went to the allergist. I found out that I am allergic to dogs, cats, wool, fleece, and pet dander. I'm currently planning to go to school to become a veterinarian. FML
Ring of fire
Today, I learned the hard way that I'm allergic to a particular brand of tampon. FML
Today, I discovered that I have developed an allergy to salt water on my face. Now, every time I sweat or cry, I come up in a bright red rash. I am allergic to my own bodily fluids. FML
Today, after 3 years of studying to be a veterinarian, I found out I may not be able to continue. It's not because I'm failing my classes, but because my body has developed an allergy to cats. FML
Today, I found out that I'm allergic to bacon. FML
Today, I had a food allergy test done because of an ugly acne upswing, and after over a year of vegetarianism, I find out that I'm allergic to soy. FML
Extreme reaction
Today, I discovered I'm allergic to the new perfume I bought and now I smell like a hospital. FML
Today, I finally went to have blood taken for an allergy test I really need. Afterwards, I had an allergic reaction to the bandaid they used on my arm. FML

So? Most hospitals have stopped using latex gloves, anyway.

Yaaay, nitrile! (The smell is considerably better too, and doesn't cling to your skin as much.)

Most of the medical field has quit using latex

AWWW shit, that sucks! I'm a tattooer and we use latex gloves too, it would be most annoying to develop an allergy after only a few years...luckily there are alternatives, but I would definitely be pissed! Hope you're alright and didn't have a severe sudden shock :/

it worries me this is your 3rd year & you are still so ignorant to latex free gloves...just how many other basic details have you missed?
