Today, I bought a brand new flat screen TV. When I brought it home it didn't work. Furious, I walked into Best Buy and yelled at a guy in a tucked in blue polo and khakis. I asked him why it didn't work and he said he didn't know. I kept screaming. He didn't have a nametag. He didn't work there. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I bought myself a brand-new 52" flatscreen. It was only in my house for 2 hours before my toddler had a tantrum, threw a toy right into the screen and wrecked it beyond repair. I paid to have a nice TV for 2 hours. FML
Thanks, weather!
Today, I bought a brand new TV that cost a pretty penny. I took it home and it had a defect. After a lot of arguing, I was able to exchange the TV for another one. I got it home and it worked amazing. Later on, we had a bad rainstorm, which flooded my room and screwed up not only my new TV, but my PS5, Xbox, and laptop. FML
Smooth criminal
Today, I walked into Best Buy to buy a 42" widescreen TV I'd been saving up for many months. As I walked in, a man stopped me and handed me my wallet that I'd accidentally dropped. I thanked him. Five minutes later at the checkout, I opened up my wallet to realize it was empty. He had stolen everything. FML
Today, I was chewed out by a lady who claimed the laptop she bought wouldn't turn on, and that she wanted a refund. She yelled and shoved the laptop at me, not even listening when I told her I didn't even work at that store. FML
Ruined
Today, I purchased a brand new television. Not long after the professional who hung it on my wall left, it came crashing down on my hardwood floor. I'm now left with a busted TV, a tear in my living room wall, and a severely drained bank account. FML
Working in retail sucks
Today, a customer yelled at me because we didn't have any laptops in stock. I work at a clothing store. FML
Lost
Today, I got lost at Best Buy. Meanwhile, my mom freaked out, and they called out my name over the intercom. When I walked up to the desk and they saw I was 17, the employees burst out laughing. FML
Erm, thanks, I guess
Today, I went to a store to buy a 43-inch TV that was on sale. The sale was so good that they sold out on the floor. I went to guest services and asked the employee if they had any in the back. She literally went to the back of the room, let out this god awful fart, came back out and said, “Sorry, we don’t.” FML
Today, I got yelled at for providing horrible customer service, in a store I don't even work for. FML
Today, someone came into the store I work at, laughed at my name on my name-tag, and left without even buying anything. FML

Even if he had a name tag, why would you yell at him? "Hey, you work here! You must know exactly what's wrong with the TV I bought from some other employee a while ago! "

That is a great website! You get more bees with a spoonful of honey than a shovelful of shit.

took the words out my mouth. if people were more courteous things would probably get done a lot faster and with no headaches.

I agree with #2. And yelling gets you nowhere anyway and it's incredibly rude. No one working at Best Buy is directly responsible for your TV not working, especially not some innocent employee. It's the company that made the tv.

Yeah, really. This is one of those bitchy customers who no one likes and causes a scene. Where I worked we would always mock these people. The nicer ones we usually helped more, but if they scream, we'd refuse service.

Why the hell would you yell at an employee, anyway? Wtf. Chill! Take a deep breath, let it out.... End.... shoot yourself in the face for being a tool.

What a marvelous display of your (lack of) social skills! What were you thinking, by the way? "Hm, my TV isn't working. Forget that Best Buy doesn't even make these TVs, I'm just going to YELL at the first person in the store who appears to be an employee. " You seriously deserved it.

Ha-ha, I agree with #2. I thought of Notalwaysright as soon as I read the first two lines. But seriously, yelling at the employees will get you nowhere. You probably did something wrong.
ryguy997 0
but the part about being wrong didn't appear in the first 2 lines.

It would be funnier if the tv wasn't plugged in. I bet the problem could easily be solved by reading the manual.

Speaking as someone who has worked plenty of retail and customer service jobs, and who has also been screamed at by customers for something that is completely beyond the employer's control, you definitely deserved that one. Way to throw a hissy fit because you couldn't get something to work; How old are you, five? And taking it out on the first person you saw, who wasn't even an employee I might add, makes you look even worse.
