Today, at my grandparent's funeral, we were waiting for the pastor. He was fashionably late because he couldn't find his sunglasses and had gone to buy new ones. FML

Halloween

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.

Well he's not very committed to his job now, is he?

Clothes don't make the man. Attitude doesn't make the man. Sunglasses make the man. With good sunglasses, you're damned right he was fashionably late

Wait? Grandparent's? So, both of them passed?

I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one who caught that. Sad situation but I thought the same thing.

I thought the same thing at first?!? I was thinking what a horrible double whammy. But then I realized it was grandparent's and not grandparents' which I'm pretty sure would be the plural. Please don't rip me apart if I'm wrong! Lol

Yeah, for OP'S case, I hope It's not plural. I'm not sure either.

Read about snow blindness, read about migraine. Then think about one who really get something like that if he doesnt wear sunglasses. Do you really want to force one to suffer for your 30mins? Of course if you want blind priest vomiting and being curled up because of pain... For many sunglasses arent fashion statements but necessarily.

I agree, but I feel like if that was the case he would probably have backups? Maybe?

What a great pastor

Was the funeral outside or something?

he was probably pooping and sunglasses were a less embarrassing excuse to be late

Gotta look cool.

Hipster pastor

Did you happen to have the priest in American Dad?

Huh, a douche bad pastor? That's a first, and actually quite ironic....

We live in a narcissistic society. Sad but true. I hope he didn't ruin the funeral by showing up too late.
