Today, is the second time this week that school is delayed because of snow or "extreme ice." It's like we're Texas now, they get 2 inches of snow and the whole state gets shut down, but no, I live in Rhode Island. I gotta go to work. FML

Today, my house is on lockdown. I recently moved to Georgia from Rhode Island to be with my boyfriend. The state is on high alert for an ice storm. I'm stuck inside with my terrified boyfriend, who's calling it "the storm of the century". I used to walk to school in this weather. FML
Today, I got snowed in. At work. FML
Today, I'm a superintendent at a school, and it snowed today after school. The snow ended up freezing on the road, so I called school off for tomorrow. I sent calls home, cancelled all school events, and then realized that it's Friday. FML
Today, we had our second snow day in a row, something that never happens. So while the rest of school got to sleep late, I had to wake up early, get dressed, and go to my bus stop because my mom didn't believe me. FML
Today, my school's ski trip got canceled, because "All the snow makes the roads unsafe." We can't go skiing because it's snowing. FML
Today, marks my third day of school being closed due to snow. One, and only one, of the teachers has decided that we have to do work online in the meantime. I just so happen to be in three of his classes. FML
Today, I found out I'm going to have to come into the office on yet another weekend to plow snow. This wouldn't be so bad, if I actually got paid to work weekends. FML
Today, I got a phone call to say my workplace was closed due to extreme weather conditions. Looking forward to my day off, I then realised the boiler was broken and my house has no heating despite there being a foot of snow outside. I'm spending the day in bed, wearing all my clothes. FML
Today, I'm two days deep into a semester at a trade school, pulling doubles. I was supposed to only work 4 days a week, which would've been totally manageable. But, because the weather was total crap the first week, now I'm stuck working 80-hour weeks for the next month including those Fridays. FML
Today, is the blizzard. I have to go into work, my boss threatened to fire me if I didn't show up. I sent him a picture of the snow completely covering my car. He said I moved the snow there and could move it back. FML

Same thing here in Kansas. We never got days off school like the kids do now. Oh, there's a forecast of extreme cold? Better cancel school before we determine it doesn't even happen. School here has been in session for four days since Christmas break, none of those days being on the same week. It's ridiculous.

I’m in Utah and the things going with snow and school is baffling. I remember have to walk 6 blocks to school in snow nearly a foot deep and I had to follow my sisters footsteps but now they’ll shut down the school or have a delayed start. With the delayed starts what the hell do they think the parents are going to do, they still have to be to work on time. 🤷♀️

Same thing here in Kansas. We never got days off school like the kids do now. Oh, there's a forecast of extreme cold? Better cancel school before we determine it doesn't even happen. VA and NC gets like 1/4 inch and the whole states shut down. I was living down there from PA for a time, watching everyone panic and laughing at them
