Silver linings?

Today, I told my ex-boyfriend I lost 20lbs due to the stress of the break up. His response was, "You're welcome." FML

kelso BURN!!

Haha! In all fairness what'd you expect your ex to say? Congradulations?!

And that is why he's your ex.

any guy who would say that is definitely not worth your time. but guys are assholes and almost all of them would have come out with that exact same response. he's boring and predictable and a douche. move on.

ydi because you shouldn't have tried to make him feel bad in the first place. and because you spelled "you're" wrong. not really sure if that was verbatim or not.

I agree with #67. Maybe she wasn't fat to begin with? Maybe she was skinny. All of you people are insensitive and judgemental. Maybe her ex didn't break up with her because she was a bitch, and more because he was an ass? Maybe she still talks to him because she still cares about him and he called her? Maybe he asked how she was doing, so she replied honestly. Or even if she was trying to pull a "guilt-trip", it doesn't make her a bitch, but maybe just hoping he still cared, even if just a little. Maybe even if she was larger before the twenty pounds were lost, it's not like it was lost in a healthy way. People need to stop being stupid.

You totally lead yourself into that one. But, looks like you are better off? I would be grateful if he made me lose 20 lbs without any effort.

PS... I hope things are going better for you now.

What'd you expect him to say?
