Today, I felt a fear that my relationship with my boyfriend isn’t going to last. There’s nothing inherently wrong, yet I find myself thinking of breaking up with him. A lot. I love him and feel like I’m already part of his family, and that's something I don’t want to let go. I don’t know what to do. FML
Today, my boyfriend of two years accidentally admitted to me that he settled for me because he doesn't think he can do any better. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 3 years felt comfortable enough with me to disclose that he had previously spent 4 years in a mental institute because he tried to kill his mother. He also told me we will be together forever. I'm scared. FML
Today, my boyfriend of three years told me he isn't sure about me anymore. He said he saw a quote on Facebook that a guy can be with a girl for 10 years, then leave, and be with a girl for one and marry that girl. Meanwhile, I've been planning on the rest of my life with him in my head. FML
Today, my boyfriend of two years told me that he sees no future with me. It's alright though, because he says we can still "coast along" until he meets someone else. FML
Today, my boyfriend of two years asked his friend to propose to me for him, because he was too nervous to do it himself. FML
Today, in the same sentence, my boyfriend told me that he wanted to "spend the rest of his life with me," and "I want to break up with you because I can't face your family." FML
Today, I asked my boyfriend of 3 years what he thought about marriage in the future. "Who knows? We might meet other people soon." FML
Today, my boyfriend doesn't know if he should break up with me because he loves me too much, or to stay with me and make me suffer. I have no clue as to what's going on in his head. FML
Today, I was in the car with my boyfriend. After telling him how much I loved him, he asked me to marry him. When I said yes and started crying, he said he wasn't sure if he really wants to get married. FML

He might not have meant that a future with YOU makes him feel that way, but in general the idea of spending his future with SOMONE that makes him nervous. Kind of normal to have doubts when it comes to that kind of decisions. But hey I might be wrong so in that case yea FYL

I believe that this fml is about me and my girlfriend. While I cannot say that for certainty, I believe it is. I will get confirmation from her if this is true. I never wrote that she made me nauseous. She sometimes exaggerates the truth. In this case I never said that. We were in the midst of getting ready to move in together. She is willing to give me certain amnesties due to her being 1 out of 2 people I have been with (the other was a 2 week relationship). Recently I have had doubts about things in her own life and even with herself as well as how I would feel once things change. I am also afraid I do not feel as I once did for her. I want to know whether it is a different kind of love or if it's not the love that she is able to give me. As I was browsing the fmls and I saw this, a lot of things added up to it possibly being her post. If it is not her post, than a random chance that someone else was going through a similar situation. If not, then I just wanted to clarify to completely random strangers that I want to understand where she stands in my heart before I do anything big such as moving in with her and starting another chapter in our lives.

I don't think he was trying to be offensive, maybe he was implying that he was nervous of having a long term relationship? If you've been at it for 2 years I don't see why he would want to be offensive.
