Riveting

Today, I had my first job interview for eight months. My interviewer noticeably yawned during my reply to the first question. FML

Why did I say that?

Today, after months of unemployment, I got an interview. It went great until the recruiter asked if I had questions. Trying to sound thoughtful, I asked, "What do employees dislike most about working here?" The recruiter laughed and said, "That's a unique way to phrase that." I spent the rest of the interview wondering why my brain chose violence at the worst possible moment. FML

My interviews have NEVER lasted eight months!! Too bad it was your first one, I'm sure others will go quicker! ;)

ydi for being so self absorbed and over sensitive that you automatically thought the yawn had to do with you and then got so butt hurt over it you had to submit an fml....

eight months is a long time to be in an interview

he might have been tired

Maybe it was just really early in the morning, i'm they were just tired ... |:

that's not an fml

Can you believe it? OP's job interview lasted 8 months! Wow, that must have been awkward past the first couple of hours.

How dare he be tired!? You are the most important thing to happen to him today, if not in his life! He should have made sure to get a good night's sleep and to have had a ton of coffee before you came in! I bet you're a treat to work with.

Hmm...never heard of an 8 month job interview OP. With grammar like that you're probably too dumb to get a job at McDonald's. And yawns rarely signal boredom, it's simply a natural reaction to tiredness because breathing has relaxed to a sleep state and the awake brain needs more oxygen than an asleep brain. Thus, the yawn makes up for that and increases oxygen!

That doesn't really mean anything...I yawn constantly. It never means I'm bored.
