Today, I found out who the father of my sister's 4 year old son is. My husband of 7 years. FML
Today, my dad introduced me to my half-sister. He'd only recently found out that he had another daughter by another woman, and had only just met her. She and I have been in the same class in school for the past three years. FML
Today, I was meeting my boyfriend's family for the first time. The minute I stepped in the door his mother hit me in the face and kicked me out because I was "the slut her husband cheated on her with." My older sister and I look much alike. Too much alike. FML
Today, while shopping, I bumped into a guy I knew in high school. He went on about he heard I'd got married, looked like I'd had a baby, and that, "she looks just like you!" The kid was my niece, and my husband broke up with me 2 years ago. Thanks for bringing that up. FML
Today, I found out that after reuniting with an old boyfriend, getting close with his two year old son, and moving closer to him to properly be a part of their lives, he got back together with his ex-wife. FML
Today, I met my sister's fiancé. I would have been happier for her if he hadn't been mine a month ago when I introduced them. FML
Today, our family reunion began with my sister calling my brother's current crazy girlfriend by his last crazy girlfriend's name and ended with my dad telling my adopted niece that he wanted a family picture without her in it, but she could be in the next one. FML
Today, I reunited with my mother and my sisters after a long time. I actually walked out of the reunion, too, after I drove 800 km away, only to find out that they're fighting over my late father's inheritance. I had vanished from my family because they were always possessive and crawling up my ass every time. FML
Today, I found my sister online after over a year of no contact. Our other sister framed her, getting our parents to kick out and disown her. Her childhood sweetheart and his mom took her in, and is now living a life of luxury with them abroad, while we live off government checks, which BARELY cover bare basics. FML
Today, my estranged, alcoholic father decided to tell me I have a sister. After 30 minutes of him describing how beautiful she is, how much we look alike, and how she has lived one town away from me her entire life, I was excited to the point of tears. Too bad she died a year ago. Thanks dad. FML

Hi, unfortunately, this is me, the OP. I had to make an account just to comment.... Just so you know, not my whole family is messed up, just my sister. I have a twin sister and a little sister, and they're some of the best people anyone could know. To clarify, my college boyfriend Craig broke up with me when I was 21, so he could pursue a relationship with a woman he'd been seeing for several months (turns out, they met at my family reunion!). I got married three years ago, when I was 28, and shortly after, I found out my sister Marissa was Craig's mistress. Since Craig and I were extremely serious and thinking about getting married, I cut off all contact with her, but a few months in, my husband said he saw her at the grocery store. I never would have dreamed that he slept with her. That's how her son is two. She's asked my husband to move to Los Angeles from Atlanta, where we live, so he can be a part of her son's life. I'd really like him to be a part of our one-year-old's life as well. My husband says it was just once, but he saw how much I struggled with finding out about her the first time. I'm willing to see if we can work through this, but it's looking very, very bleak. Thanks for your well wishes, I'll try my best to keep you updated.

I think you and your sister need some family therapy to work out why she's trying to take your serious significant others away from you. Sleeping with them is one thing; asking YOUR husband to move across the country to be with HER is even worse. Did you two ever get along?
