Nice imagery, thanks
Today, my husband got pissed drunk and told his friends, “My wife let herself go after having the baby. I have to roll her around in flour and find the wet spot when I hit it.” I’m three weeks postpartum. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, my husband got drunk, which was bad enough, but then he got me to the point where I wanted sex too, so I let him climb aboard. He was inside me for 3 thrusts and then stopped. He’d fallen asleep, so I pushed him off me, mad as hell, then he farted and shit a little bit. I married this twat. FML
Today, I got into a fight with my husband. I told him we’re a stereotypical couple, where the wife is exhausted from doing all the housework and raising the kids. He looked me in the eye and told me I’m lucky he’s still around after how I “let myself go after the third kid.” I have diastasis recti. FML
Today, my husband woke up, tried walking to the bathroom, fell down, got back up and started peeing on the carpet. I’ve never seen him this drunk before. FML
Today, I found out I'm pregnant. My husband reacted by going out and smoking weed, then getting completely shitfaced, and having his buddies drag his nearly-comatose carcass back home from a strip club. FML
Today, I'm 3 days post-partum and my husband accidentally jabbed into my side while flopping onto the couch. FML
Today, I hired a babysitter, so my husband and I could spend some time together and work on our failing marriage. I dressed up. We went out. He got drunk and puked on me. FML
Today, as a new mother post-partum, I was overwhelmed as fuck. I hit rock bottom. I couldn’t get my infant to stop crying. I already fed him, changed his diaper, and held him. My husband smugly told me, “Why you crying for? You were moaning, “Nut inside me, Daddy” during sex. This is what you signed up for!” FML
Today, six weeks post-partum, I asked my husband once again to help with the chores around the house. He got upset, threw my phone at me, and said, “Stop being inconsiderate, I just got home from work! Call your mom to help you or something! Shit!” and stormed out of the house. My mom passed last year; he knows this. FML
Today, at a friendly get-together, my friend's husband had too much to drink and got into a fistfight with my husband. I'm seven-and-a-half months pregnant, and the friendly get-together was my baby shower. FML
Today, I got home and found my husband passed out, lying in the playpen with our 6 month-old climbing all over him. I don’t know how long he’d been asleep, but her nappy was overflowing and she hadn’t been fed. FML

I'd wait for him to have the hangover done with and then demand a flat out ******* explanation. 3 weeks pp? You're not (or should not) even be thinking about sex yet. He can either grovel for forgiveness or pay child support if that's what he thinks. His choice. Because, personally, I'd never be able to get even slightly hot for a guy who kicked me like that 3 weeks after the scariest and most changing experience of my life to date.

He may have said this under the stress and used humor to make a dark sensor of humor joke to cope with but since he said it his friends and not to you, means he was likely saying it as a coping mechanism when he was with his friends. I don’t think he meant it as an insult to you, but when someone is with their friends, they’ll say stuff they wouldn’t dare, nor want to say, directly to your face as it’s a safe space. The humor was meant to make light of the change in life, but it was not meant for you to hear it. Kinda like some women (or men) get together and swap stories and criticisms of boyfriends/girlfriends/spouses/exes when together trashing their shortcomings and other trashtalking, and it’s not meant to make it back to the subject of the statement. Tbh, I’d be interested in how you found out about what he said, as it seems someone violated a safespace to stir drama, and it would be akin to your friends telling him trashtalking you may have done. Theres some analytical subjectivity needed here, and while you may be offended, people can’t be perky and well adjusted 100% of the time, or therapists would be out of a job. Instead, if how he treats you changes, or how he talks to you does, males can, and also do go through depression, stress, anxiety and all sorts of life changes when a baby comes, and he may need therapy and support if behavior changes. This is why companies are now extending maternity leave to fathers as well. Now then, please understand that dark humor and dirty jokes can be a coping mechanism. Not a direct attack, and who he said it to does indeed matter in why it was said. If it’s not to your face, I wouldn’t worry or you’d be shocked at what you likely haven’t heard even worse.
