Today, I was at the mall shoplifting when a girl who looked my age pointed to a shirt I had in my bag. "Stole that, huh?" she asked smiling. She looked pretty cool, so I nodded and asked if she stole the jeans she was wearing, which were from the same store. Turns out she didn't, she's the manager. FML

Today, I bought a coral colored hooded sweatshirt, which my girlfriend told me was "hot". I wore it to a baseball game tonight. When it got cold I put the hood over my head, only to hear everyone behind me laugh. The back of the hood said "Boy crazy". It was a teen girls sweatshirt. FML

It's all about context. Leather jacket = cool. Leather jacket because you are a fanboy = geek. Compound that with the fact that she was "young", and that means you are old, it's double geeky. Maybe you can redeem yourself by showing her that you can solve a Rubic's Cube in under 40 seconds.
