Today, my AC stopped working. It's currently 3:08AM and I have 2 fans running, a cold washcloth on my neck, and a window open. It's still hot as hell. Thanks, Florida. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Southern states be like
Today, as I have my entire life, I live in the south. However, our AC decided to break and now it's 91 degrees inside the house, even with fans on and the windows open. FML
Hot hot hot
Today, my AC stopped working and I have no money. I live in Phoenix, Arizona. FML
Today, I left the windows open because I live in Florida without air conditioning because the asshole landlord won't fix it. There was nice cool air from the rain. I've killed about 100 flying ants that have made their way inside. Now I have a hot house with closed windows and flying ants. FML
Deal with it
Today, in the middle of this heatwave, my mom has a fan in her bedroom and her precious dog has two fans pointing at her dog bed, which she apparently needs because she could overheat, poor thing. Meanwhile, I have zero fans in my room and can't sleep from the heat, but I get told to just deal with it. FML
Today, our AC broke. It's 98 degrees inside the house. My parents will be staying at a 5 star resort until the repairman can come to fix the unit in 6 days. They made me stay home to make sure the plants survive. FML
Today, the company I work for decided to "go green" and stopped using the air conditioner to cool down the office. It is currently 81 degrees at my desk. FML
Today, we had our first rainstorm in weeks. Thirty seconds before it started, my window broke in the "down" position from overuse, since last week the air conditioning in my car gave out. Now I have a hot, wet car. FML
Working conditions
Today, I'm sitting in a disgustingly hot office with all the windows thrown open. There is no fan, and the owner won't let us use the air conditioner. The smell of mold permeates the room from the ceiling, giving me headaches by the end of the day. The owner refuses to get someone in to clean it. I can't quit. FML
Hope that's in Fahrenheit
Today, for the first time in at least two years, the temperature exceeded 100 degrees in my area. Except this time, it nearly hit 110. Even with my fan and air conditioner on the highest setting, my room was still burning hot. It's currently 11pm and the temperature has gone down… to 81 degrees. FML
Alexa, play "Heat Wave" by Martha and the Vandellas
Today, I checked my local weather forecast. The highs are supposed to be 85-94°F (29-35°C) for 9 of the next 10 days. It's been 95-102°F (35-39°C) for the past week. I have no air conditioning. I'm so tired of this heat! Fuck climate change! FML

Damn. That'll be that thing. What's it called, again? World heating? Earth boiling? You know, that thing Trump denies is real.

Florida knows it’s the end of September right?

Haha. Try California. We have had 4+ wildfires in the last year, the last time it poured here was February 2017, and we are still in the middle of a drought. It was very hot last Friday, and one of my friends said, "California realizes that summer's over, right? What's with this heat?!I'm dying."

Where in Florida are you that it’s that cold? It’s like 120° here in Miami at 10pm

I went to Florida a couple of summers ago, and I also went to Savannah 3 times already and the Carolinas twice. It gets so humid. I guess you can call the south A.C. of humidity.

OP, would you rather be living in North Carolina right now? AKA The Land of Ultra-Flooded Waters "thanks" to Hurricane Florence?

If it’s anything like it is in my part of Florida, my sympathies. I have a working ac and the humidity Is still keeping me awake.

This is still better than the major blackout in the summer of 2003. We did not have power until the next day and we couldn't even open our windows since we had just finished painting them outside.

Ignore all these trolls, Minnesota gets the worst summers and winters out of all these motherfucking ass *******. Minnesota gets 80%-100% humidity on 80-100 degree weather days in the summer, and in the winter, don’t go outside unless you want to hide yourself and your family, unless you have to go to work or school. It has to be -20F, have at least 2-4ft of snow, hopefully the winds won’t be super horrible, being -40F or the at worst -60F, making the weather even more unbearable. Yeah, okay, whatever life you’re living in is paradise unless you live in the Midwest. Mother Nature will give us a couple warm days, next day say, “**** you! Here’s a ******* Snowstorm! Good luck mofos!!” It’s all ****** lol
