Moving on
Today, I moved states to be with my soulmate in our new condo. It was also the day I took out a neighbor's balcony with my U-Haul. FML

It's perfectly fine if you have an open relationship, OP. However, a U-Haul probably isn't the most romantic place for a date if you want to take a balcony out. Try a flatbed instead.

The key words here are "took out" not like "damaged" or "dented" You must have annihilated that balcony, OP. Nice.

I took out a bank drive through cover with a rental truck once. I learned this: Always always always get the "Hey here's the keys to the smoldering wreckage on the highway - SEE YA!" insurance. Always.

I hope you signed up for insurance with U-Haul that at least covers any damages, OP :/ When I rented a U-Haul, extra insurance for accidental truck damage & property damage caused by anything other than a car accident was optional
