MLM FML

Today, I went on a coffee date with a man I met online. His "friend" had tagged along. We were having a good conversation, until the friend pulls out his laptop and says, "So let me tell you a little bit about our travel business," and talked about a pyramid scheme for an hour. FML

Why didn't you get up and leave? You don't have to be polite to rude people.

I'd have left. That is rude as ****. Agreeing to a date and then attempting to get you to join a pyramid?! That is beyond rude. I'd have been angry and just left. You don't need to be polite to rude people.

YDI for listening for an hour.

I would have called for the check when the sales pitch started. And if the date had driven to the restaurant, I would have called for a cab.

You are allowed to crash that pyramid right there!

I've been marketing all wrong this whole time. Time to rethink my business strategy because this is gold!

Oh man, you should have spoken up about it! I'm sorry your date sucked OP.

I really didn't want to be rude, but I stayed more because I was moping to myself. I sat there, miserable, because of course this gorgeous guy wasn't actually interested in me.

Based on your avatar photo; the guy must have been gay. Both of them.

Tch it's not a pyramid scheme - it is a funnel system!

Never punish yourself by listening to someone else's BS. They're also bottom feeders of the pyramid game.
