Medical malpractice

Today, I went to the hospital for severe abdominal pain and nausea. I sat in the waiting room for six hours, just to be told, “We don’t know what’s wrong with you. Try taking Gravol and Tylenol and maybe lay off the fatty foods.” I feel like shit. FML

get a second opinion and make sure it's not a blockage of some sort. I had the exact same symptoms as you, and it was almost fatal.

They didn’t run any tests? No bloods or CT scan?

Sounds about right for our Canadian healthcare system. I had to go to the hospital twice before I got a diagnosis and meds. My condition isn't life threatening, but for others, repeat visits with no answers could be life or death. The doctor shortage is killing us. Go back and insist on a proper diagnosis.
