Maternity leave

Today, we were so desperate to be parents, we've had IVF twice until our son was born. I was not ready for just how much I would hate him. I physically detest my son. I didn’t want to hold him when he was born, he makes my skin crawl when I breastfeed and I barely look at him. Messed up, right? FML

Halloween

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.

Sounds like postnatal depression - please speak to your Dr, as they can put things into place to help you xx

Yeah you don’t have to keep living like this, there is lots of help out there when you’re ready to find it, it won’t be easy but this is a very normal very common thing your going through

1. Dr time. Go tell them exactly what you told us and ask if you have post-partum depression. 2. Schedule a couple hours a day where the baby gets handed off to Dad and you get to soak in the tub or read a book or something. It will help you feel less shitty. Even taking a nap will help. You're probably REALLY tired right now, and that's not helping any hormonal issues. Get some unwinding time in, and schedule some for Dad, too.

dont worry! its postpartum depression. please seek the help of a doctor and he might suggest some anti depressants and therapy. there is a solution, dont give up!
