Lost in the sauce
Today, I went for a lunch interview for my dream job. The interview was great and at the end, I tried to seal the deal by complimenting my future boss. I said, "You're really hardworking. Do you always work on a Saturday?" He looked at me, smiled and then wrote something down. Today's Friday. FML

Don't really see how that would effect the rest of the interview.

How do you not know what day of the week it is? Especially if you have an important appointment like a job interview.

If that keeps you from getting hired, there's something wrong with the dude.

lolz @19 Honestly, if the rest of your interview went as great as you say it did, I wouldn't think it would reflect negatively on you too much. Simple mistake that everyone makes.

Ever since I have been out of work I keep forgetting what day it is. Without my normal daily routine time just runs together now, so i can see how that happens. If you don't get the job becasue of that the guy is a douche and you are probably better off.

Im a little confused. I think its because I cant work yet, so Ive never had a job interview. But what was wrong with the OP saying it is Saturday and not Friday?

if everything went well except for that, i'd doubt he'd not hire you just cause of that. everyone makes little slip ups sometimes.

I don't think he'd immediately knock you off because you forgot a day. Cause some sort of meltdown first.
