Let's goooooo

Today, my 9-year-old son decided honesty is the best policy and to never lie again. And by that, I mean he's decided to go ahead and blurt out every mean comment he can think of. In one school day, he made 6 kids cry, was punched by 4 other kids, was reprimanded by 3 teachers, and was uninvited to a birthday party. FML

Looks like you’re raising Reese from Malcolm in the Middle.

Society would come to a screeching halt if we all spoke the whole truth all of the time. Your son just contributed more data to the validity of that idea.

Did you make a birthday wish that he couldn't lie? Is this a reverse Liar, Liar situation?

man your kiddo is awesome for not being afraid to say what is on his mind, even after getting punches 😅 what a trooper! be proud mom, soon the world will always keep him in a no box

I think OP needs to explain the difference between "honesty" and "not keeping your opinions to yourself" before the kid becomes a pariah as a result of social Darwinism.
