Leave me alone!
Today, I still can't open my curtains or door without my ADHD teenage neighbour screaming my name and waving from my across the road. I moved from a city to this place so I could have a big garden to help my extreme social anxiety. When I go outside, she comes running over. Sometimes she brings her dog, who shits on my lawn. FML

Any chance of putting up a nice tall fence? Good fences make good neighbors is how the saying goes. But oof, that sounds like a nightmare

It can be therapeutic for both of you. Work with it, maybe talk to the parents so you all can get on the same page.

Tell the family (teenagers and their parents) thank you for welcoming you to the neighbourhood. From now on, you'll indicate if you're in the mood for socializing (wave them over, you cross the street, etc).

Hey.. Have you considered writing her a letter and explaining your anxiety? That way, you can gather your thoughts and convey them in an effective, non hurtful way. Good luck!
