Hey you
Today, I was waiting at the bus stop and noticed a girl that I played netball with. I ran across the road to meet her and she ran across the car park to meet me. We hugged and looked at each other slowly backing away as we both realised that we didn't know each other. FML

Since you both made the mistake, maybe you both can laugh about it and become friends.

This almost sounds like a cheesy chick flick movie. Take the best out of it, OP! :)

It was an honest mistake that both of you made, be happy that you still shared a good hug with someone! :)

Nope, I'm right there with you. No clue what netball is. "/

#33 and #41 Netball is a female only sport a bit like basketball, but you can't move with the ball and people have set roles and areas they are allowed to be in. It's played quite a lot in the UK.

#68: good description. There is also no backboard on the hoop. It's mostly played by females (some males play but not many) and is very popular in Australia, New Zealand and the UK countries. The link below gives an overview of the game: http://youtu.be/aBuxsRnU50A

Lol that's probably one of the most ironic and awesome things I've heard of!

Why is everybody assuming that OP is male? Or is it just that everybody is really keen for them to be in a relationship either way?

#35 What amuses me is that OP is almost definitely female. Netball is a girls sport.

Haha I didn't wanna say it was a "girls sport" at the risk of offending male netball players (because although there are few, there are still some there), but that is exactly what I thought!
