Heat of the moment

Today, I tore up my airborne academy admission documents because my lab results weren't good enough. A few hours later, they called me to apologize for the misunderstanding, mine turned out to be perfect and they'd accepted me. They need me tomorrow with all the documents to finalize the admission. Tell them what happened. They were the idiots that made a mistake and it is their fault.

I can't because a few hours prior, my dictionary told me I wasn't good enough so I ripped all the pages up.

now what did we learn today? watch this weeks South Park episode - it will help with your anger problem

Haha, I agree.. The OP must have a super tiny penis.

I'm guessing few of the previous commentors have had much experience in dealing with bureaucratic red tape. The government doesn't often "understand" such things.

Ummm... They got blown into a propeller? I really got nothing here... Skydivers aren't know for their patient demeanor. They should know that.

YDI for being a tantrum throwing little bitch!

Why assume they were throwing a tantrum. Those documents have personal/private information on them and should be shredded/ torn up before being thrown away. The OP thought they were rejected and no longer needed the documents so they got rid of them. There may have been no tantrum involved.

It's easy to assume op threw a tantrum. If op thought they didn't need the documents they probably would have added "I tore up my documents b/c I thought I no longer needed them" or something of the sort. And if it been for that reason, it wouldn't be an fml b/c it would have been understandable.

No, it would still be an FML because they would still be in the unfortunate position of having to recompile all of the paperwork.

could be worse, at least you didn't burn them.

Documents? What documents? I have no idea what you're talking about... you must have forgotten to send them

That'll teach you to not throw childish tantrums.

Hope you know how to use tape

I am sure they will have extra copies! Just explain to them what happened, I am sure they will understand.
