Family time

Today, my parents decided to go on a diet. This would be perfectly fine if they didn’t insist I go on one too. I weigh less than 90 pounds and am underweight for my height. FML

Halloween

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.

A diet can also mean eat more or eat more calory-dense stuff, you know.

Eat junk food when they're not around. Easy.

No reason to go the junk food route. A dozen energy balls under the bed, some Cliff bars in the school locker, 9% fat yoghurt in the fridge and some nice dinner with friends should do the trick. If the parents find the energy balls or complain about the yoghurt, remind them that teenagers and young adults need more calories than middle-aged people. Especially if they're underweight.
