Dominance
Today, I have accepted that if I try to spend time with my girlfriend, she will come up with any excuse to avoid me, but when I want to do something by myself, she will be at my elbow every ten seconds, loudly whining that she wants to spend time together and that I'm mean. Talking has yet to fix anything. FML

She sounds incredibly immature emotionally.

When you want to be with her, pretend you want to be alone. When you want to be alone, pretend you want to be with her. I'm sorry you couldn't solve that puzzle on your own. Be glad you have access to genius on this site!

I had a cat that sometimes was like that… It’s probably a problem on both sides. We tend to remember when we were the one wanting attention but didn’t get it and forget the times we got attention but didn’t respond because it wasn’t when we wanted it… I would say that the best approach would be to sit down and calmly discuss the situation and each other’s perspective. Ideally the couple can figure out how to come to a compromise. If that doesn’t work there are three options: … (1) Couples counseling, maybe an independent person can help them sort out how to resolve such issues. (2) Just accept that partner is like that and either accept it or… (3) Break up if the issues cannot be resolved and you cannot live with it…. In truth all couples and families have disagreements, unmatched expectations, and annoyances. Part of becoming a couple or a family is learning how to resolve differences. It rarely helps to draw a hard line in the sand and say “it’s my way or the highway” because ultimately every couple and family deals with disagreements. If you cannot solve relatively minor problems like this, you will never survive it when big problems hit.

reverse psychology... pretend like you want to be alone when you really want to be with her.

That's going to get really exhausting and mentally taxing after a while though, always having to pretend =/ If that's how the relationship's going to be, I'd say seek professional help for them, and even perhaps split up if that doesn't help.
