Today, I was washing a stainless steel pot at my kitchen job. Every time I pulled it out of the dishwasher and examined it for dirt, I saw something orange inside it. After 3 run-throughs, I realized it was just my shirt's reflection. FML

Today, I put on what I thought was my "lucky" sweater for a job interview. Halfway there, I noticed my reflection in a car window and realized it was covered in cat hairs of various colors and a faded spaghetti stain from last week that apparently hadn't come out in the wash. FML
Today, I got marinara sauce on my new white shirt. I went in my desk for my Tide-To-Go pen and started using it on the spot. Turns out orange highlighters look a lot like Tide-To-Go pens when you don't look closely enough. FML
Today, after taking my jacket off at work, I found a large faint stain all across one side of my shirt. Turns out that my fiancé had used it to "clean up the bed." I am the manager of a supermarket with 40 employees. It was pretty obvious what it was. FML
Today, I had to do my laundry. Being too lazy to separate them into different colors, or even check the pockets of my jeans, I threw everything I own into one load. Turns out I had left a tin of lip balm in one of my pockets. My whole wardrobe is now covered in spots that won't come out. FML
Today, I noticed white stuff in my colored clothes as I transferred them from the washer to the dryer. That's when I realized that the white stuff is my paycheck which I had put in my pants earlier. FML
Today, I was washing my hands in my workplace's bathroom and caught my reflection in the mirror. I had toothpaste smeared all over my cheek. I spent the rest of the day wondering how many people had noticed and said nothing. FML
Today, I realized I'd put on my shirt on inside out, so I went to the bathroom stalls to fix it. As I was taking it off, I accidentally dropped it in the toilet. FML
Today, I had lunch with friends I hadn't seen in years. We took a few group shots with my camera, and I went home and downloaded them to my computer. Seeing them on my monitor, I noticed a yellow spot on my black shirt, so I looked down. A big, dried booger was stuck there. FML
Today, I thought I was clever for doing my laundry while multitasking and making dinner. When I went to transfer my clothes from the washer to the dryer, I discovered that I'd accidentally washed a pack of gum that was in my pocket. The gum had melted into my favorite shirt, and I now have a sticky mess to deal with. FML
Today, I noticed that my coffee mug has a 'dishwasher safe' label. I've been hand washing it for a year. FML

Okay, I know everyone is talking shit, but I can totally understand how this happened. When I do dishes at home, I have to zone out and think of something else so I dont die of boredom. Maybe you had zoned out and had a hard time figuring out a common sense problem because of it. Been there, done that. :-)

I think it all depends on how much the woman works. When my mom worked very limited part time, she did all the housework. Now that she works full time, they split it evenly.

yeah, I do everything too my husband offerse to help me. I clean, cook I love cooking and wash dishes but the truth is that I like company not help. when I try doing something the other person is just in the way not just my husband. for sure my husband loves me for doing everything but if he were to tell me that washing dishes is for women I wouldn't do shit for him.

At night, I use it to occupy the time during my insomnia (no, FML is NOT the reason I can't sleep) During the day, I go on for a few hours and then do whatever else I do during the day (which is none of your business). thats like when i was washing my hair and when i put conditioner on soap still came out so i tried a couple more times til i realised i was using the wrong bottle. i was using the shampoo instead of conditioner. haha. i am a self proclaimed douche.
