Cheered up
Today, I was denied acceptance to the University of Georgia. I was down all day so I decided to go to a party my friend was throwing. Thinking it would cheer me up, as soon as I arrive, all I see is colleges on shirts, hats, and sweatshirts, most being UGA. It was a college acceptance party. FML

There are other colleges and chances. Did you at least get to enjoy the party anyway? In your situation, I'd make the best of it.

It's alright, you'll get in somewhere! I'm at my fall-back school and I'm loving every minute of it! So hang in there..

@ Idiots crap-talking UGA: If your GPA is below a 3.7 you can pretty much forget being accepted; everybody applies and the standards are much higher than you think. Even with with a 3.9 or a 4.0, it's still a gamble to get in. I just happened to win out on this one. It doesn't matter, though, because I ended up attending GCSU, which I'm happy with.

You deserve it. You should have applied to Georgia Tech instead. So much better

Don't worry about not getting into U(sic)GA. I am sure you'll get into a much better school ! Even if everyone is talking about the grades you need to get in , no one talks about what you get out of it. Be happy you can go somewhere that won't destroy your logic and thinking capabilities ! GO TECH !!

There's still a ton of other schools you can apply to.
