Today, I finally got my wedding photos in the mail. As I looked through them, I soon realized that the lace material on my wedding dress was completely see-through in the sunlight, and my bra and panties were visible in every single outdoor photo. I had an outdoor wedding. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, after a day spent at the beach, I was looking back through our photos. Neither my husband, sisters, kids, or our friends bothered to tell me that my white swimsuit became a bit see-through when wet. In absolutely every photo you could clearly see my pubes and my nipples. FML
Today, I got married wearing a strapless dress. As I walked down the aisle, our wedding photographer stepped out behind me to get a shot of me approaching my husband. Instead of stepping out, though, he stepped on. Stepped on my dress. Pulling it completely down. FML
Today, I gave the toast at my sister's wedding which was outside. Before I started, the wind blew up my dress and wouldn't let up. Instead of giving my heartfelt speech, I spent five minutes fighting with my dress as 130 people pointed at my floral-printed underwear and laughed loudly. FML
Today, it was my wedding day. The best part was when we were taking photos and I threw up on my dress. At least the pictures were outside. FML
Today, my sister and her new husband invited our family and my fiancé over to look at their wedding pictures. Turns out, I caught the bouquet and flashed the world in the process. FML
Today, was my wedding day. We had a beautiful outdoor wedding and everything was going perfectly as planned. That is, until a bird flew over us and left a present right between my boobs. I had to stand at the altar for 30 minutes as bird poop melted in my cleavage. FML
Today, I got my wedding photos back. The only decent picture of my husband and me together also featured a fat guy in a crop top behind us. FML
Today, I was the Maid of Honor at my friend's wedding. Months earlier, we had a bitter fight, but she picked out a beautiful dress for me and I thought we were past it. When I began speaking, the lights changed to a weird brightness and my friend snickered. My dress was completely see-through. FML
Today, I was looking at my wedding photos. The photographer moved onto the "candid" shots and thought it would be cute to have pics of us making out at the reception. I have blonde hair. The girl in the picture did not. FML
Today, I gave a toast at my friend's wedding. When I said, "Everybody raise your glasses," an industrial fan went off and blew my dress over my head. Now, people won't stop talking about how my "blue granny panties" didn't match my dress. FML

I doubt it occurred to her that they would make a see-through wedding dress. I didn't think they did until now. Plus, I'd imagine many dress shops would take issue with a customer leaving the store while wearing the dress without paying for it.

Once again wedding dresses are designed for wearing a specialized undergarment sold at the bridal shops she may have ordered her dress from a site because when I was engaged every shop included the price of the undergarment slip whatever with the dress or at least told you about it...

I feel like even though this is really awful, it is your fault OP. If you wanted an outdoor wedding, you should have planned before hand for a dress that's not so thin. White, thin materials don't mix well with white. Maybe you were wearing dark colors underneath? I don't know, but that makes so sense either. If that's the case, you should have known not to wear dark colors with whites. Sorry, but YDI.

Why wouldn't you wear a thinner dress to an outdoors wedding though? Since OP is in Australia and it's Summer here now (and assuming she had the wedding recently), her wedding day was probably 30+ degrees celcius, so lighter clothing makes sense. Plenty of people wear "beach" type wedding dresses if they aren't doing the whole "big, white wedding" thing. I don't blame OP for making a simple mistake, especially if she tried on the dress indoors or on a less sunny day. But it's pretty douchey that nobody at the wedding mentioned her visible underwear.

I was getting all excited thinking everyone got a peek at nipples and bush, but then I got to the part about the undergarments and lost interest. Lucky for you, I imagined the aforementioned nipples and bush and have regained interest. Don't you feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?!

At least you had underwear on. Though it should be a normal thing to do, to see, if the white clothing sees through.. Hopefully it made the day funnier for some people, and well, it's not that bad... I'm sure you wear bikini to the beach. Without a dress. I never really understood why women are afraid of showing their underwear but go around in their bikini all summer.. Hm. Though yea. Wedding.. fun thing to remember.
