Today, I tried to buy a bottle of wine from the supermarket. The scrawny, acne-ridden kid at the checkout asked to see my ID. I didn't have any on me, since I'm 37 years old and didn't expect to be asked stupid questions. I complained to his manager, only to be asked to leave. FML

it's the poor kids job to ask. Also, last time I checked it is the law. So next time save everyone the trouble and time and just have your I'd ready. ass

It is the law in many states that you must for Id or you can lose your job he may have acne but at least he isn't a stupid prick like you

Let me get this straight. You think the store should risk losing their liquor license because you are too lazy to remember your ID?

Alot of stores have to card under forty... be happy you look young(:

You do understand that when buying alcohol the person selling it to you has every right to ask for your id. Don't be pissed off because someone was doing their job!

if you look under a certain age in most states you are required to show I.D. He was just doing his job.

Wow. you're just a bitch. If you're going to overlook the fact that he's just doing his job, and could get fired/into legal trouble if he doesn't ask for your I.D., at least be flattered that he thinks you're young enough to still be I.D.'d.

Whoa now, just because you were too irresponsible and left your ID somewhere other than where it should have been at the moment (in your wallet, or in your pocket), doesn't mean you should take your anger out on the cashier and insult his looks. By doing that you're bringing yourself down to the level of a ten year old.
