Today, my mom bitched me out for still being single at age 19, and still not having started a family. She considers this "immoral," yet showed nothing but praise for my sister, who's pregnant at 15 and doesn't know which of three guys is the father. FML

Today, we found out that my 13-year-old cousin is pregnant. My mom then turned to me and asked why I decided to wait so long. I’m only 20. Instead of being worried that this young girl has potentially ruined her entire life, my mom just complained that her sister "gets to be a grandma first." FML

Today, my siblings came home for the weekend. At dinner, my dad started complaining at how one of my siblings had gotten fired, one was failing college, and the other was gay. He went on to say I was 17 and already had a bright future. I'm pregnant. FML

Today, my sister went into a blind rage at me for "upstaging" her by announcing that I'm pregnant, two months after she did the same. My husband and I have been trying for two years. She's in high school and doesn't even know who the father is. FML

Today, my mother keeps nagging me to find a wife, settle down, and have kids, even though I have zero interest in any of those things. She refuses to understand that I’m perfectly content being completely on my own. She even signed me up to Tinder without my knowledge. FML

OP, you are only 19, don't be in no hurry to have kids. Enjoy your youth and have a fun life, maybe wait until you are 30+ to have kids, trust me, you'll be doing yourself a favor.

Don't rush if you don't want to. It's your life. I'm 27, got married this year for the first time and am having my first baby. There's nothing wrong with waiting! Live your life how YOU want to and do what's right for you. There's nothing wrong with doing the things you want to do and getting your life in order before settling down. Your mom should be proud of you for not being a MTV statistic!

Are you Gypsies? Are you another culture that does arranged marriage and so on? Those are the only reasons I cna see for 19 to be an "old maid" and popping out babies when you can't even drive to be peachy.
