HE WAS THE ONE WHO GAVE HER THE LICE YOU IDIOTS!
Just to clear up any misconceptions: -You can get lice outside of head to head contact! Lice can live up to 24 hours off of the head. -Dyeing your hair will not solve your problem. The lice certainly wouldn't like the dye, but it won't kill them completely. -Wearing a hat might help prevent catching lice, but isn't foolproof (clearly). Also, if you get lice, wearing a hat will not lead to them just dying off. Just use lice shampoo and a nit comb every 3-4 days until the problem is completely gone. It takes 1 week for a newborn louse to grow up enough to lay more nits, this is why I say 3-4 days instead of the usual 7 days. Also, if your skin is up to it (check first), leave the shampoo on for longer than the recommended 10 minutes. In my experience (as a mother) the shampoo usually takes at least 20-30 minutes to kill anything. I personally prefer an hour. Do that and you won't ever have to deal with reinfestation. Oh and please let your close friends, family and school know, or somebody might just pass it on back. Its polite, and not as embarrassing as some may think. Lice happens.
Or just carefully pour a bottle of rubbing alcohol over your head an rinse with warm water you will most definitely kill a lot that way plus it's a lot faster... Well it was for my niece anyways...
What about your friend? Think of others, won't you?
it's actually impossible to get lice from sharing hats. just a thought :-p
nothings impossible sweety.
she wore a hat he never took off, so he gave her lice.......unless she had it before that and didn't know about it...
