that makes me a sad panda Ume, Sweden

Today, my landlord's control issue got out of control when I got a call telling me I have "too much stuff" and have to move out of the apartment. I sold all my furniture when I moved in and all I currently own is a scratch post, a chair and a pair of curtains. FML

I'd show him how much stuff you actually have and ask for his suggestion on how you could minimise this further.

Please read your lease because: 1) Most landlords are forbidden from entering a premises unless they believe there is an emergency. 2) Owning possessions is not terms for eviction barring state/city declared danger, like hoarding cases. Record any written interactions and make notes of verbal interactions including times and dates. If you have a signed and legal lease, what your landlord is doing is illegal. He may own the property, but as its legal occupant, you have tenant's rights.

This landlord would really hate having me for a client, then. Not only do I actually have a bed, but it's double-sized! A minimalist I ain't. :-P

Looks like he'll have an empty building if you have too much...that's quite poor business management

If he keeps it up, sue him for harassment then get the f**k out of there
