Today, my boyfriend was cooking me dinner. He walked away and I decided to help by giving the pan of veggies a sautee flip. My boyfriend failed to mention that he had just pulled that pan out of a 500 degree oven. FML

if he walked away then why is it his fault for not mentioning how hot it was?

If the pan WAS in the oven, there's very little reason for him taking it out to cook. YDI for flipping finished veggies. Uncooked food goes in the oven, it doesn't come out.

#61- Do you realize how controlling you sound?

"failed to mention"? honey, he never asked you to do it

"failed to mention".... What a bitch. Did you hurt your head because he failed to put your retard helmet on you, too?

Doesn't pan + cooking generally = hot? Or at least warm?

#21 and 25-You absolutely can put frying pans in the oven if you have oven safe pans. Don't try to criticize somone else if you don't know what you're talking about. #67-lol.

why was he cooking veggies at 500degrees? blech!

I say YDI because, like others said, do not mess with someone else's cooking unless the specifically ask! As for the douches who say all women must inherently know how to cook due to the magic cooking skills that come with having a ******, STFU. I've kicked professional male cooks out of my kitchen when I'm making something and they try to mess with it. Sure they could do a better job then me, but it's my cooking and NO ONE touches it until it's done.

He didn't fail to mention it, you failed to know it.
