Today, my boyfriend was cooking me dinner. He walked away and I decided to help by giving the pan of veggies a sautee flip. My boyfriend failed to mention that he had just pulled that pan out of a 500 degree oven. FML

Today, my boyfriend of 2 weeks said that he was going to cook me dinner. After waiting for the frozen pizza that he decided to make for me to be completely cooked, he said, "Oh I hate this part", reached into the oven with his bare hands and took out the pizza, all while screaming. He is 24. FML

Today, I tried to make breakfast. I had everything cooking on the stove when I reached to turn on the faucet, only to find out that the head of the faucet was up the sleeve of my robe. After drying off, I went to serve my boyfriend his plate, but when I returned, the stove had caught fire. FML

Today, to impress my date with dinner, I spent hours prepping and cooking. Just as I was about to serve her, I realized I'd left the stove on and my kitchen was on fire. As the fire trucks arrived and my date looked on in horror, I couldn't help but think, "My cooking is so hot it literally set the house on fire." FML

A few people have said this, but, If #21 cooked more he/she would know that many saute pans can, in fact be put in the oven. Some recipes even require time on the stove and time on the oven. It is also nice because it saves money for those who don't have the dinero to afford both a saute pan and a roasting pan. Also, #34, I sincerely hope it was not a cast iron skillet, because then the OP would have already made a poor choice by attempting to flip the contents of the pan; that shit is frickin heavy.

How did your boyfriend fail to mention it? He didn't know you were gonna walk over and grab the hot pan =/ He wasn't even there, if he walked away. You deserve this more than the YDI button can ever say.
