Eventhough this may not be an fml, my boyfriend said the exact same thing ( pretty much) 8 years ago, and I explained to him that love is different for everyone and that the feeling of love varies depending on who you are "loving". We have been married for almost 7 years and still going strong. I wouldn't take it too hard or seriously.

Maybe this is not a FML, but the comment he said after "I love you" makes it understandable for her to take it the wrong way. & for everyone saying stop being over sensitive...girls are usually super sensitive! It's almost as if his comment negates the "I love you" I guess it depends on your perspective lol
