OP: Just starting off I'm from Georgia, and I can see how this is an FML, because how stupid you were to not realizing he was faking. Southern, and English accents are the easiest to detect, which ones are faking, even if you don't have that accent. But you gotta hand it to your (ex-?) boyfriend for keeping it up for that long, and not slipping. He'd probably started as a joke, but since you liked it so much he kept it or he wasn't going to stay with you that long.
