******* hell, there's three ways I interpreted this, and I'm not sure which is the case, of which sucks more. 1: OP got the courage to tell him, but hadn't actually met up to confess at the time of the accident. 2: OP got to confess, and they discussed a possible relationship. 3: OP got to confess, and he turned her down. All of them have their own flavor of pain to them, and I feel horrible for OP regardless of the flavor of poison they had to drink.
