Sorry for your loss OP. My thoughts are with your families and your heart. I know this is the worst of condolences, but if anything you told him how you felt, so no regrets.

He died knowing that he's loved. The good die young OP. I am not sure if this would be helpful but perhaps you could look to Lea Michele. Draw strength from her. She went through this so graciously and she came out stronger than ever.

This is the first FML I've ever seen that actually constitutes the "true FML" status, and actually makes me glad that some FML's can no longer be given YDI when the OP doesn't deserve hate.
