Today, after coming home from hanging out with a few friends, my mom told me that I shouldn't hang out with them any more. Why? Because "they are way hotter than I am and I'll never get a boyfriend if I'm always the ugly one in my group." FML

your mom is right in a way. as a single guy, though, it's not all we look for. some hot girls are just looks and no depth. while you do disservice yourself a little by hanging out with them, don't beleive it's the only way. but then again, what do I know. I'm a single 23 year old virgin male.

Your mum seems to be a massive biatch - Why the hell would having a boyfriend be more important than having good friends? Your mum is totally wrong. Being the ugly chick in the group makes you more likely to get some because guys use the ugly friends as a way to get to the hot ones. Then the hot ones get all down on themselves because they think that they aren't as pretty as the ugly girls, therefore they get low self-esteem, thus they are twice as likely to filache... or partake in the filming of a movie.
