Today, I'm living with my now ex-girlfriend of 9 years in the house we bought together. What's worse than that is the fact that 2 weeks before she told me she was unhappy and ended it, I had bought an engagement ring. I didn't get the chance to ask, and had to return the ring. FML

YDI. Who in the world asks for gifts back? And unless your 8 month relationship happened to include her birthday, Valentine's Day, and Christmas, there's no reason for her to have that many gifts in such a short amount of time.
