Wear a long sleeved shirt, don't be a rookie.
Why didn't you just wear something that had longs sleeves? And if it was too hot, then maybe a work appropriate jacket would have done the trick cause you could have put on during the interview then taken it off after.
you should have just explained yourself...
That sucks, did you try to explain to them what it was.
Honestly, so many people saying YDI for wearing short sleeves... I wore a sleeveless top for my interview, and guess what? I got the job. Why would you dress so formally if A. the person interviewing you told you to dress casually, and B. the interview was held IN store, at a booth in a small town gas station? And, on top of that, I don't think OP realized what the rash looked like until it was too late. I know I wasn't thinking of my scars/blemishes in my anxiety about preparing for the interview.
if i had to guess: op does not own any long sleeves shirts nor can she afford them and that’s why she applied for a job. she did explain the rash, but the interviewer didn’t believe her. in life, it’s almost always that kind of insurmountable scenario that no one will believe.

Yeah, you could've worn longer sleeves, or maybe tried some concealer? I suppose you could've also tried to explain to her about the rash, but she probably wouldn't have believed you anyway...so yeah fyl.
You shouldn't work at a place that would jump to 'rash' decisions like your interviewer did.
