I think the proper (non-murderous) course of action here would be for him to be your personal slave until he has repaid the full cost of replacement. $1 per hour pay rate.
#50 So I guess you wouldn't mind if one of your family members took $3 000 of your own money in cash and burnt it in front of you, because hey, compared to the rest of the money in the world $3 000 is nothing? I don't know. Maybe it's just me, but I'd be pissed as hell if my little brother broke something of value to me, especially if it was something that couldn't be replaced easily, no matter how much the most expensive models of that thing cost.
What kind of ..? You let him what? How old is he?
YDI for letting a kid who obviously isn't old enough to be know the difference between a rock concert and his sibling's guitar 1) watch a video of people smashing their guitars, which will influence him and 2) have access to the guitar, as it obviously was left in a place where he could go get it.
That seriously sucks. I would kill my brother if he ever did that to my guitar, and it's only worth $200. I say you hit him in the nuts repeatedly with the broken pieces, then make him pay for it.
i love my siblings, but honestly, sometimes just.. **** them LOL
