Kick the everloving shit out of him. Twice.
I have three guitars, a 2005 Les Paul Gothic, a Gibson Korina Explorer (Allen Collins Tribute) and a '59 gold top Les Paul. they sit proudly on guitar stands in my bedroom. Why should i have to hide them from my little brother? what i feel you should do is talk to your parents and tell them what happened, and demand your parents replace it, or your brother... next, i would sit down and talk to him, and give him his first Life Lesson: RESPECT MY SHIT.
If I saw someone do something that halfassed to my SCHOOL vibes and marimbas, trust me, DEATH IS IMMINENT.
I agree with 104 and everyone else like him. but seriously, i think you should bitch at him or your parents (or both XD) every day for the next month. that should work. :) if not, well, do something like that to him. or humiliate him. BADLY. what goes around comes around. :)
MAKE HIM PAY
i feel your pain. my siblings do stuff like that to my guitar too (it's not $3000, but it's a schecter; that's a quality guitar). well, they haven't smashed it, but i've had to pay for my fair share of new strings, etc. (i even had to replace one of my emg pickups once...), and i must say, people who don't play guitar don't really get it.

well...time to grab your bro by the feet / ankles and do the same to him
lmfao ouch. Lets hope he pays for it.
