You're both at fault. More him, but that was disrespectful on your part. Again, you deserve better, but don't assert yourself that way, no guy with a healthy psyche will respond wholeheartedly positive to that kind of behavior.
Depending on what he was playing you did something between the level of rude of him turning off a movie you were watching up to him taking a phone out of your hand while you were talking to friends and hanging up on them because you were ignoring him. Now think about how you would feel if he treated you that way.
Maybe there's a reason he wasn't serious about you. If you treated me like that, I wouldn't want to commit to you either.
Yep, that was a pretty immature and disrespectful way to get his attention. He dodged a bullet.
Can't say I blame him. What you did showed a blatant lack of respect. I wouldn't put up with your bullshit either.
I'm no gamer, but even I know that's super rude. You couldn't have just said, "Babe, I really need to talk to you. It's super important. Can you please pause?"
And then they just sit their with a blank stare while they ignore you even though it's the 20th time you asked.
#68 Then leave. If you're not getting the respect you want (or anything you want) from a partner, and you need that respect (or whatever it is), you don't shit all over what they're doing and demand they give it to you. You can't demand anything from anyone. It's not just immature, it's ineffective. Unless you're that person's mother and they're still a kid, if they refuse to work things out with you of their own accord, then you leave and find someone or something else to get your needs met.
she could have threatened to turn off his console and that wouldve been more than enough to get his attention
That was a horrible plan... NEVER turn a mans gaming console off while he's playing
It was extremely rude of you to do that, if he wasn't saving regularly, you could have cost him hours of work. You could have either waited until he was able to save, or able to pause (assuming he wasn't playing online).
You know that a pause button exists right?
Only online games can't be paused as far as I know, and the story doesn't state whether he was playing online or not. So if he was offline, he could've paused the game.

Honestly that would piss me off, but gaming is my hobby. You could have been mature and just asked him to pause his game.
Don't get in the way of a man and his xbox smh
