Today, I finally finished watching Dexter. I was more disappointed by the finale than the picture I later received of my girlfriend cheating on me. FML

I feel you OP, that finale will have long-term effects on your life forever. I completed reading the book series recently, and although it does not compensate it does end better :)

They're way off from the series though, only the first book & first season correlate so there are many surprises :) I won't lie, the author went a bit weird in book 3 and 4 if I remember correctly but they're still worth it!

I just finished it yesterday as well, and I agree. The finale was way more disappointing than my break up, which was also yesterday. I feel your pain.

I just finished watching it too, and I absolutely hated it. I nearly cried. But sorry about the girlfriend. On the bright side, at least you like an amazing tv show!
