Today, I found out why my 20 year-old girlfriend broke up with me. She was building everything she did to match her favorite TV show. The main character left her boyfriend in the exact way she left me. And the breakup email she sent me contained monologue from the TV show, word for word. FML

I hated the finale, but not just because of what happened to the characters. One of the things that irked me the most about it is the holes that they left in the plot. Note: there are some details some may consider as spoilers. 1) I get that everyone was busy evacuating the hospital. But how did he slip out to the boat without even ONE person seeing that he was sneaking her out there. That's just not realistic. 2) The water was WAY too calm for being that close to a hurricane. They weren't in the eye of the storm. The waves should have been enough to capsize a small boat like his before he even had the chance to dump her. And there are more examples of writers not really paying attention. It just felt like they wanted it to end and they didn't give a crap how it happened, so they half-assed it.

Here's the definition of irony (straight from Merriam-Webster, I might add): "A situation that is strange or funny because things happen in a way that seems to be the opposite of what you expected." By the way Noor, I never said it wouldn't be "funny" if the other guy's name was Dexter; I just said that it WOULD be ironic, which you vehemently denied to the point of calling everyone who disagreed with you names.

When I finished watching dexter I missed school for a week cause I wasn't able to function. It's a good show it had that effect on everyone. But on terms of your girlfriend just start watching bates motel or supernatural.
