Today, I asked my best friend why she didn't ask our other best friend Anna to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. She said, "She's too pretty. I need ugly bridesmaids to make me look better." I am the maid of honor. FML

Today, my best friend told me that I wasn't invited to her wedding, saying that I was too pretty and that I would outshine her at the ceremony. I laughed and said that she was being ridiculous. She eventually confessed the real reason why I wasn't invited: apparently I'm an annoying bitch. FML

Today, my best friend announced she was getting married. I've always wanted to be a bridesmaid but she then added, "You can't be in the bridal party because you don't have the same body type as the other bridesmaids. But you can still come to the bachelorette party!" FML

Today, I’m supposed to be a bridesmaid at my sister's wedding, but she doesn’t want me in the photos because I’m over a foot taller than her and the other bridesmaids, and it will look silly in the photos. I told her I won’t even bother attending, and mom actually took her side. FML

Go, go Bridezilla! You're not missing a thing. Maids of honor get to do all the scut work and listen to all the bridal drama, get bitched at, screamed at, etc. The one she does choose for MOH is going to be going around with a bad case of PTSD here in a few weeks.

Honestly, you owe your best friend a big "THANK YOU". Who wants the expense and stress of being a bridesmaid, let alone the maid of honor? She just saved you hundreds of dollars. She is someone else's problem now.
