It wasn't me

Today, I got a call from my local hospital's emergency room, stating my wife was in labour. My wife and I split years ago, but just haven't divorced. She's been telling everyone I'm the baby's father. My current girlfriend is 7 months pregnant with my child. FML

# 33 in some states like mass and texas, if you are married when the baby is born, the kid is yours, end of story. you both could be White, it could come out black, and your paying for it for the next 18 years plus.

Michigan too. in Arkansas u can't get divorced if u are pregnant.

if your wife is having your baby now, and your current girlfriend is seven months pregnant, that means you got your girlfriend pregnant two months after impregnating your wife. seriously?

..........Seriously?!?!?? ......All you morons saying "OMG U SPLIT YRS AGO Y DIDENT U GIT A DEVORCE LOLOLOLOL"..... I don't know where the hell you guys are from, but in CANADA (where OP - as well as myself - is/are from), it costs a HELL of a lot of money to divorce, and if HE initiated it, then HE would be responsible for paying for it all. Just saying. :/ But OP, FYL. Sounds like you've gotten yourself into quite the complicated situation... And while it is still partially your fault, I wish you luck on fixing it.

Thank you so much for this. I don't get how people are so dense. I'm not sure how much divorces are here in the US, but in Germany (and in Canada, as it seems), divorces are expensive. Then again, babies aren't any cheaper.
