Date night

Today, I got into a heated argument at a restaurant with a guy I am seeing because he refused to let me pay for the bill and I thought it was sexist. When he finally agreed, I gave the waiter my card, only to have him return a minute later telling me it was declined. FML

girl, it's just polite, classy, traditional. get over yourself it's nothing to get in a heated argument about, either. come on, if you offer to pay half and he declines, accept graciously. it makes you seem like less of a bitch.

Wow...there's really no need to get into a heated argument about it.

i hate feminist and im a girl i would not find that sexist at all excuse him for having manners....

Stupid feminazi. At least that is primarily an America problem.

The problem with feminism is they insist everything is sexist.

Being a feminist in itself is sexist. They're focusing on their own sex, struggling for more (no longer equal) rights. They're not struggling for equality as that has already been ascertained.

How the HELL is that sexist ?! You're a dumbass .

Seriously? People bemoan the fact that chivalry is dead. Maybe it's because of situations like this where a guy is reamed a new one for trying to be kind! God, good thing I'm gay. I'm sorry, but YDI.

How exactly is it sexist? Dude's just trying to be nice, then you get offended and end up making yourself look like a complete jackass. YDI.

its not sexist you feminist bitch! its ******* chivalry! everyone complains about how guys dont treat girls with respect anymore, how we dont hold doors open, and blah blah blah, but its because of bitches like you. get over your high-risen pedestal you filthy *****.

i think offering to pay on a date is polite and shows interest in the other person, what's sexist about that? i think it is much better manners to accept the offer gratefully than to start an argument and make the other person feel guilty for offending you when they were trying to do something nice.
