Today, my girlfriend and I went down to the pier. I brought an empty bottle and some paper, and we both constructed a massive letter expressing our passionate love for each other. We stuck it in the bottle, and threw it out to sea, only to see it explode in slow motion on a protruding rock. FML

Today, I was going to propose to my girlfriend on my boat at the lake. As we were looking at the mountains all around us, she playfully pushed me off the side into the water. As I got back on the boat, I realized that not only was my cellphone dead, but the ring had fallen into the deep water. FML

Today, I proposed to my girlfriend. When she saw the ring, she got so excited that she ran to kiss me and it flew out of my hand, over the balcony of our suite, and fell roughly 45 stories straight down. I could feel my wallet screaming as a £4000 diamond vanished into the night. FML

thats all you care about is littering???? you people are sad, cold, lonely, bitter people who dont know anything about love, and who have no people in your life who ever loved, or will love you except your family. look, if they actually took the time to write a letter and put it in a bottle and throw it into the ocean, they must love each other. all of you who say ydi, i hate you all. besides, its not littering, or trash, its a message in a bottle. if it hadnt have shattered, im sure someone, somewhere would've found it. if you think it's littering, you all have no respect for love. and he saw it in slo mo because they took the time to write that letter and it shattered, so it seemed slo-mo. thanks for your time.

Oh come on, how is this a FYL!? If it were me, I would just stare shocked at my girlfriend and then burst out laughing. That's really hilarious, and should be taken with humour.
